This week we learnt about St Patrick´s Day, a celebration on 17th March that comes from Ireland. Our Irish speaker, Adele, explained stories about leprechauns and pots of gold at the end of the rainbow and about how this day is celebrated in her country and in the rest of the world. The younger students made hats to wear on St Patrick´s Day and the older students practiced Irish dancing and got a lucky green shamrock to take home which will bring them good luck, good health and happiness.
