En motiu de la 24a edició de la Setmana de la Ciència 2019 a Catalunya, el Col·legi Sant Josep també organitza algunes activitats relacionades amb la ciència amb el lema “La QUÀNTICA entre nosaltres” (concurs de ciència FOTOQUÀNTICA a l’ESO i Batxillerat, xerrades divulgatives al Batxillerat, robòtica i tallers a Infantil, pràctiques de Science a Primària…). El tema central de l’edició d’enguany de la 24a Setmana de la Ciència és la Taula Periòdica, així com el reconeixement de l’ecòleg Ramon Margalef, l’enginyer i inventor Narcís Monturiol, Margaret Hamilton i el polifacètic Leonardo da Vinci. Desperta la teva sensibilitat més quàntica i creativa.
Durant la Setmana de la Ciència els alumnes de Primària des de la matèria de Science realitzaran a l’aula algunes experiències científiques de recerca i observació en anglès, i des de la matèria de Recursos Tecnològics Aplicats, els Blue-bots ens ajudaran a entendre millor el moviment i ball dins l’aigua, les lleis de Newton i la pressió atmosfèrica.

EDUCACIÓ PRIMÀRIA – 1r – INVISIBLE INK / MAGNETISME
1st Primary students have been celebrating Science Week by writing secret messages using lemon juice. They have drawn on a paper with invisible ink and after ironing it the secret picture has appeared.
EDUCACIÓ PRIMÀRIA – 2n – GIANT NAKED EGG / NEWTON
2nd Primary students have been celebrating Science Week by doing an experiment with an egg. We’ll check the egg to discover what happens to its shell. Will the egg become a giant naked egg after sitting all the weekend with vinegar?

Can plants grow without soil? Our 3rd Primary Students will check it in a few days! Today we have put some seeds in 4 different pots and we will observe and water the plants every day. Hoping to get good results!
Primary 3rd · Little by little, the seeds are growing! This week we are using a ruler to measure them every day. We are learning the growth of a plant.

Primary 4th – Last week we have celebrated Science Week. We have made our Grass Head experiment. We will take care of them hoping their hair grows up.

Our 5th graders have created in groups wonderful cells, using different types of materials, once they saw different real cells in the laboratory! It has been a challenging experience! Now, we are all in love with microscopes! Happy Science week!!

Our 6th graders, have been experimenting with their senses throughout the Science week, since we studied how they were connected to our brain. It has been really interesting to see their reactions. Can’t wait for the next experiment!
