OUR SECOND BRAIN: THE STOMACH

At the end of the first term, our 6th graders were involved in a mini-project about one of the main life processes: Nutrition. In teams, they made some research about food intolerances and allergies and their symptoms, thus they had to design special menus (such as lactose free, gluten free…) and show them to the rest of the class. They learnt that is very important to bear in mind that before offering any certain type of food to someone, we have to make sure that he/ she is not allergic or intolerant to it. Creating menus is a complex process, and all teams did a great job!  Congratulations!
