The classes were separated into groups, and each group was assigned an ecosystem. The students were asked to collect information and create a mural. Afterwards they presented their work in front of the class explaining to the others what made that ecosystem unique.

They really enjoyed working as a group and realized how important, and sometimes difficult, it can be to function as a unit and share different ideas.
